5 th Grade News

Reading: Our Reading theme is called Nature’s Fury. We will be writing a descriptive paper this week.

Social Studies: We will be finishing our chapter and the test will be Thursday, September 11. We will also begin writing a research paper about an explorer. Be looking for more info about this.

Language: We will be learning about Subjects and Predicates.

Memory: We are working on the books of the Bible. Know through Proverbs by Tuesday and Daniel by Friday.

Math: We are learning about units of measure and converting between them.

Science: We are learning about cells, plants and animals. The test will be September 22.

Religion: We are learning about the uses of the Bible, the structure of the Bible and the purpose of the Bible.

Remember to look for spelling words stapled in assignment notebooks

Also be looking for grade slips starting this week.

We have PE on Tuesday and Thursday, please dress appropriately and have laced shoes.
