Dr. Seuss’s Birthday

To kick off the month of March, we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday complete with a play from the high school and a visit from the Cat in the Hat!

The Cat in the Hat will help us remember our letters. One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish will help us learn about a new pattern of A-B-C. Sam I Am from Green Eggs and Ham will help us learn about the new word wall word “do” and help us sound out the ‘am’ word family.

Dr. Seuss is just one theme we will learn about in the month of March. We will also learn about St. Patrick’s Day, Health in the Human Body and Easter. We will continue to learn about recognizing coins and their values.
