Fall Is Here Too Soon!
Welcome back! Just a few reminders for parents and students, in case I have forgotten to mention them at home visits or open house.
- Pictures will be taken on September 5 th. More info to come home when school starts.
- The Fair this year will be and “Animal Fair”. Mrs. Williams and I will probably wait until after Thanksgiving to start the projects. The reports and other items for the fair will be on a smaller scale than last year.
- Yippee Sheets will be done differently this year. Help me help your student keep organized this year. We will still have a quarter reward for those students who score an 80% or higher. The first Yippee Sheet will come home the week of September 1 st.
- Collect all of your aluminum soda cans tabs! As Christians In Action, we have decided to save the tabs, recycle them, and donate the money to the building fund.
- We will have Chapel the first Wednesday of school, August 27 th. Please remember your offering. The offering for September goes to the bus ministry, which helps us go out into the community and share Christ’s love in song, word, and action.
- For the auction project, I am hoping to decorate and/or build a large dollhouse. Ideally, I would like to have the students assemble it and decorate it. If you know anyone who would be willing to help me with this, please let me know.
