"Opening
New Doors" In Biblical times gates were often used as a device to open an area for people or animals to enter. You might remember the psalmist writing, "Enter His gates with Thanksgiving and His courts with praise." Psalm 100:4. As we anticipate the move to our new location, we look forward to Opening New Doors (Gates) that we may enter and give thanks to our Lord. For it has certainly been only through His guidance and direction that Good Shepherd Lutheran School has been able to make this monumental step to further its mission and ministry through a more modern facility. This change in location is not just for us to enter and give thanks, but to provide a more visible presence so that others, especially our children, in our congregations and community will be able to also have the opportunity to become part of the Good Shepherd's Flock. May this be a year of rejoicing as we Open New Doors, enter, give thanks to our Lord, and reach out to our congregations and community to Build the Good Shepherd's Flock! Ralph E. Mickley, Principal
